• Hello everyone, let me introduce my self, my name is Asep Restu from english education departement semester 2.  And I’m here want to tell you some information, about using email on education in pandemic covid-19 era.Email, what is email? e-mail, is a method of sending digital letters, which are sent through digital media such as cellphones, laptops, computers, and the like. email, was created in 1971. by a former MItian who worked on the TENEX operating system for bbn technology as an ARPANET contractor.    In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, email is very much used as a learning medium, because schools are implementing online learning. Therefore, the existence of email in the 20th century is very helpful, not only in the field of education, but also very very useful in the fields of company / work, and communication in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. Why is email so useful in the 20th century? that's all because email is a medium for sending messages that are very effective, because email has a very fast transmission speed via the internet, and also email can be created or typed through digital media such as cellphones, computers and laptops. which was at the time of the current covid-19 pandemic. makes it impossible for mankind to meet in person. because this pandemic attacks the health of all mankind. We are all required to comply with the health protocols that have been determined by WHO, one of which is to keep our distance and not come into contact with other people outside the home        Advantages and disadvantages of email, the advantages of email are. offers fast delivery, as I said above, email is a medium for fast messaging via digital media. quite cheap, because it does not require a courier service to send messages, only uses internet data quota, offers a practical, yes, practical way because we don't have to bother to handwrite the letter we want to send, the data is stored safely, and finally namely neat, because email is an application that has been designed to make letters neatly. disadvantage of email. email will depend on the hardware or device used, because if the device used has an error, the email will not be used properly. depending on the internet connection, yes, as we have discussed before, email is a medium for sending letters that use the internet. Finally, not everyone understands how to use email.          Likewise with the use of email in the world of education, there are drawbacks and advantages. the drawback is that not all students / students can use or can understand well the use of email, for online learning. the advantage is that students or students do not have to bother taking and returning assignments from the teacher directly to school.  My personal experience in write an email for asssigment are, in my opinion, working on, and sending assignments via email is easy there is difficulty, because sometimes I'm too busy with other tasks so I forget to send assignments via email according to a predetermined deadline. and happy because it is not difficult to send assignments via email, rather than having to collect them directly to campus.
